This suit and coat silk ensemble sets cameo
pink, gold, violet, blue-green and fuchsia against a creamy white
background. The coat also brings in the element of black. The
pattern used is an old traditional quilt design called "Cupid's Darts."
In the original quilt design, all the "darts" angle in one
direction. In this adaptation, Susan |

| set the larger units on the
vertical in the coat, and angled the smaller units in four
different directions in the peplum suit jacket. Again,
lighter and darker values of each color were used to create a 3-D
effect. |
