| Another favorite quilt block of
Susan's is the maple leaf block. After playing with a number
of layouts, Susan decided to turn the blocks in four different
directions. Yellow and orange leaves would alternate against
green and brown backgrounds. There are around 100 3-3/4"
blocks. An appliquéd tree would "grown" in the center of the
coat back. The shoulders would be covered in 90 appliquéd
leaves. |
